Axelle Red received last Wednesday afternoon an honorary degree of the university of Hasselt, for her engaged music carreer and her ‘worldwide citizenship’.
The university of Hasselt awarded, besides Axelle Red, 8 other doctorates honoris causa.
Luc De Schepper, headmaster of the university: ‘It’s because of Axelle’s unique artistic carreer and her engagement to make a better world that the university is honoured to award her a doctorate honoris causa.
